“immer.Chic” was founded in the summer of 1999 by Julian Jöckel and Gregory Schuchmann as a consequence of their intense passion for electronic music. Julian and Gregory knew each other since their childhood but became close friends in the age of 17 as they realized their nearly similar tastes in music and other parts of life. Both are deeply influenced by their elder brothers, who grew up in times when the first waves of electronic music hit Germany. Julian and Gregory’s main issues in producing music is to seek for an intense atmosphere and something that is usually called ”groove” or “funk”. So, they produced a lot of tracks in all different kinds of electronic music since 1999, working together with different musicians, or just with synthesizers and a computer.
